Officials with Northside Downs are excited for stakes action that will be taking place at the track this week.
The Atlantic Sires Stakes’ three-year-old pacing colts from across the Martime provinces are currently vying for their final points for the Atlantic Breeders Crown, which will be held at Charlottetown Driving Park (the consolations are scheduled for Saturday, October 6, while the finals will be contested on Sunday, October 7).
That being said, Atlantic Sires Stakes action will take place this Saturday (Sept. 8) at Northside, as both ‘A’ and ‘B’-level action will take place during the card.
Northside is also scheduled to card the Nova Scotia Stake for three-year-old pacing fillies this Saturday. According to Northside officials, the list will be out Wednesday night on standardbredcanada.ca with all the entries for the overnight card and the stake races.
Post time for Northside’s Saturday card will be at 1 p.m. Northside Downs is located at 105 Regent St, North Sydney.

Northside officials would also like to remind all fans to log into their HPI account, as the track is available for wagering there as well.
