The catalogue for the 2026 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale is now available on multiple platforms.

The catalogue may be viewed or downloaded at lexingtonselected.com and on the Equineline Sales Catalog app. The print catalogue will be mailed next week. To request a print catalogue, visit the sale's website.

The sale will be held as usual at the Fasig-Tipton Newtown Paddocks. For those unable to attend, the sale will be livestreamed with live bidding offered at proxibid.com.

The yearling auction — which previously sold this year’s Meadowlands Pace winner, five of the last seven renewals of the Hambletonian and two of the last four Hambletonian Oaks — gets underway on Monday, Oct. 5, with a 7 p.m. evening session. The sale continues on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and Wednesday, Oct. 7, with day sessions beginning at a new starting time of 11 a.m., then concludes on Thursday, Oct. 8, with a final evening session getting underway at 7 p.m.

According to sale co-managers David Reid and Bruce Brinkerhoff, this fall’s renewal offers another power-packed catalogue from beginning to end, with yearlings eligible to all major jurisdictions and representation from the sport’s leading stallions on both a national and jurisdictional level.

“Year after year, it’s the overall depth of the catalogue that’s impressive,” said Reid. “Our consignors represent the best breeding operations in the sport and have once again supplied us with an outstanding group of yearlings with the most diverse pedigrees to be offered anywhere.

“There’s quality selling every session at every price point. All of the sport’s leading sires are heavily represented. Leading pacing stallions include Captaintreacherous (51), Sweet Lou (47), Downbytheseaside (40) and Huntsville (24), along with exciting first crops of Confederate (52) and Cannibal (16). Leading the way in trotters is the sire of this year’s Hambletonian winner, Walner (80), followed by Chapter Seven (58), Tactical Landing (53) and Captain Corey (29), with strong representation from the first crop of Tactical Approach (30).”

Brinkerhoff added, “Our sales graduates speak for themselves, including multiple Dan Patch and Breeders Crown champions and multiple million-dollar winners year after year. Breeders have re-invested, and it shows.”

Included in the catalogue of yearlings being offered this year are 514 dual-eligible yearlings, including 16 that are triple-eligible to the sport’s leading jurisdictions.

As it has been for years, the yearling sale is bookended by two weekends of major stakes racing at The Red Mile, and that combination makes up what Reid calls “the Lexington experience.”
