Simply said, it was an epic online battle in which Ryan Willis came out on top. Willis correctly chose five winners in the Xtreme Online Challenge. He tied for first place, but is the lucky random-draw winner of all the top finishers
.
Willis has won an expense-paid trip to the $25,000 Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship, including accommodations at the beautiful Horseshoe Valley Resort, as well as entry into the coveted championship.
Willis will be one of the young guns coming into this competition -- he’s just 19 years old. He entered the Xtreme Online Challenge and also made the trip to Georgian Downs to watch the races live.
When asked if he knew that he had won, he replied, “I was pretty sure I was doing well, I should have stuck to my picks because I didn’t cash a ticket all night at the track with my other picks”.
Hopefully he sticks to his original game plan on championship night with $25,000 on the line.
