The card of harness racing slated for Friday, Sept. 27 at The Red Mile has been cancelled due to heavy rains that could cause unsafe track conditions.
Kentucky is in the path of Hurricane Helene, hitting the Florida coast on Thursday as a Category 4 hurricane before being downgraded to a tropical storm. Officials have indicated that a decision on the status of Saturday's card will be made on Saturday morning.
