Childs Play, who won two of three preliminary legs, gets the 2-1 morning line nod in the $25,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes-Green Acres Final for three-year-old pacing fillies on Saturday at Freehold Raceway.

This is the first of eight Green Acres Finals this fall, spotlighting New Jersey-sired horses, and is the third race on the inaugural Open Space Pace & Festival of Horses card.

The Open Space Pace Event begins with a Parade of Horses down Main Street in Freehold, starting at 9:30 a.m., and features bands, vendors and exhibits, celebrity races, petting zoo, a racing under saddle competition, 12 pari-mutuel races and a concert by Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.

Childs Play, who drew the rail and will be driven by Eric Abbatiello, has a record of six wins in 14 starts this year, including the first and second legs of the New Jersey Sire Stakes – Green Acres Division. The daughter of Cams Card Shark has finished first or second in nine of 19 career starts, banking $47,192.

The Ed Hart trainee races in the name of WJ Donovan of Ft Lauderdale, FL, who purchased her for $50,000 at the Lexington Selected Sale where she had the name Yourgooseiscooked. Her prolific dam Duck Duck Goose also produced $800,000-earner Duneside Perch and $540,000-earner Aba Daba Doo.
