Red Shores at Charlottetown and Summerside continue to assess the damage to properties along with operational systems after Hurricane Fiona. An update has been provided on upcoming events which are subject to change based on final approved safety inspections.
The Monday, Sept. 26 live race program at Summerside which was postponed to Wednesday, Sept. 28 has been cancelled. There will be an additional race card at Red Shores Summerside on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. Entries will be accepted on Thursday, Sept. 29 in the race office.
The live race program scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 29 at Red Shores Charlottetown has been cancelled.
Live harness racing is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1 at Charlottetown (post time 12:30 p.m.) and Sunday, Oct. 2 in Summerside (post time 1 p.m.). There will be a double draw for those race dates held Wednesday, Sept. 28. Entries will be accepted by calling the race office.
The Standardbred Canada Atlantic Aged Mares Pacing Series has also been adjusted. The third leg scheduled at Summerside on Monday Sept. 26 will now move to Sunday, Oct. 2 at Summerside with the final being held on Monday, Oct. 17 at Red Shores Summerside.
