On Saturday (September 27), Horse Racing New Brunswick will present a card of live harness racing at Exhibition Park Raceway in Saint John.
First-race post time will be 2 p.m.
Seven races will be contested, including the afternoon's featured event, which will be contested for a purse of $1,500. Race 7 will have a small field, but a competitive group of pacers.
Man In Pink will have the benefit of Post 1 for New Brunswick's leading driver in 2014, Mark Haig. He was a winner a few starts back in a season’s best mile of 1:56.3.
Rick Armstrong, a member of this year's Atlantic Breeders Crown family recognition from the province of New Brunswick, will guide Coral Snake from Post 2. He is co-owned with his son, Luke.
ROF Peruvian High will score from Post 3 for driver Gilles Barrieau, who sits second in driving average in the country.
Ramblinglily, who took a new mark of 1:56 at Red Shores recently, will start from Post 4. Rounding out the field is American Captain, who will have Mike Campbell steering from Post 5.
