The final Atlantic Sires Stakes event leading up to the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships will take place at Exhibition Park Raceway in Saint John, NB, on Saturday afternoon.
Two ‘A’ divisions of two-year-old pacing fillies will each go for a substantial purse pool of $10,000. This will be the last chance for the fillies to earn points for entry into the Atlantic Breeders Crown.
This year’s Weekend of Champions will be hosted by Red Shores Charlottetown Driving Park from October 5 to 7. The weekend includes the Atlantic Sires Stakes championships and consolations, as well as the Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale and the Breeders Crown banquet honouring a year of excellence in Atlantic Canadian harness racing.
