The final leg of the Atlantic Sires Stakes for three-year-old pacing colt and fillies is set for Sunday (Sept. 20) at Inverness Raceway.

Sunday's races provide the last opportunity for the colts and fillies to earn points towards the Atlantic Breeders Crown Weekend. Points earned in each Atlantic Sires 'A' division pacing event go towards earning a spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships which takes place October 10 and 11, 2020 at Red Shores Charlottetown.

Two $10,000 divisions of six fillies will head behind the gate in the sixth and eighth races of the card. Woodmere Skyroller (Dale Spence) will try to keep her spot at top of the point standings in the first division, with Tobins Choice (Gilles Barrieau) and Elm Grove Ocean (Redmond Doucet) looking to upset. Red Dirt Star (Gilles Barrieau) has rail control in the second 'A' division, with Bellafornow (Clare MacDonald) and Saulsbrook Ocean (Dale Spence) pegged as likely contenders.

Pacing colts of the Atlantic Sires Stakes hit the track in the tenth race with a single eight-horse $18,100 'A' division. Favourite Woodmere Rollnpop (Clare MacDonald) leaves from post one with Mr Kelly (Adam Merner) and Tobins Rebel (Gilles Barrieau) listed as the other top two contenders. Divisional point leader Windemere Ryan (Redmond Doucet) has post eight.

There is one B Division for each, the colts in Race 4 and fillies in Race 2.

First race post time at Inverness Raceway is 1:00 p.m. To view the entries for the Sunday card, click the following link: Sunday Entries - Inverness Raceway.
