As Hanover Raceway prepares for its last card of the 2020 harness racing season this Saturday (Sept. 19) the track is also preparing to say farewell to one of its long-time employees.

"Hanover Raceway would like to congratulate and offer best wishes to our long-time Paddock Judge Bill Clements, who will be retiring after tomorrow's race card," said track general manager Steve Fitzsimmons. "Bill has had a long and storied career as the paddock judge previously at Elmira Raceway and Grand River Raceway, and for the last eight seasons at Hanover Raceway.

"We invite horsepeople racing at Hanover Raceway to give their best wishes to Bill and anyone who would like to send best wishes to him can do so at [email protected]."

The track will be acknowledging a number of its award winners during the Saturday card. To view the entries for Hanover's Saturday card, click the following link: Saturday Entries - Hanover Raceway.
