The Western Fair District has sent out a reminder that nomination forms for the London, Ont. oval’s Middlesex County Pacing and Trotting Series must be postmarked with today’s date (Thursday, September 15) in order to be eligible.
The series, which is for four-year-old and younger Ontario-sired horses who are non-winners of $10,000 lifetime as of midnight September 1, 2011, has a nomination fee of $400 per horse. There are no starting fees.
The first leg will go postward October 21; the second leg October 28, and the finals on November 5. Each leg is worth $7,500 with $40,000 added to the finals.
Nomination forms can be found at westernfairdistrict.com, under 'Gaming,' then 'Stakes Races.' Mail before midnight tonight to:
