The Western Fair District has announced to owners and trainers that nominations for the Middlesex County Pacing and Trotting Series for fillies and mares, as well as colts and geldings, are due Thursday, September 15
.
The series --- for 4-year-olds and younger Ontario-sired horses that are non-winners of $10,000 lifetime as of midnight September 1, 2011 --- has a nomination fee of $400 per horse. There are no starting fees. The series will get underway at the London, Ont. oval on October 21.
The first leg will go postward on October 21; the second leg October 28, and the finals on November 5. Each leg is worth $7,500 with $40,000 added to the finals.
