The Meadows’ Monday card features exciting action on both the wagering and racing fronts, including an $18,626.48 carryover in the Super Hi-5 and a pair of Keystone Classics for two-year-olds.

The Meadows offers the Super Hi-5 on the final race of each live program with a 20-cent minimum wager. Monday’s 13-race card also offers a $5,000 total-pool guarantee for the Early Pick 4 (Race 3). First post is at 12:45 p.m.

Monday’s stakes kick off four consecutive programs that will feature Keystone Classics (there will be an $88,500 split for pacers on Monday along with a $91,300 tilt for trotters). The headliner is undoubtedly Southwind Gendry, who on September 5 came from mid-pack to capture his $250,000 Pennsylvania Sire Stakes final at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono. The Always B Miki-Gamblers Passion gelding is set to start from Post 6 in Race 3 with David Miller driving for trainer Ron Burke and owners Burke Racing Stable, Phillip Collura, Knox Services, and J&T Silva-Purnel&Libby.

The chief threat to Southwind Gendry may be Whichwaytothebeach, the PASS consolation winner. Marcus Miller will steer the Somebeachsomewhere-Swinging Beauty gelding from post 1 for trainer Roland Mallar and owners Alan Johnston and John Craig.
