Three win streaks are on the line in the Saturday evening feature at Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park.

First-race post time for the 14-dash card is 6 p.m.

Clic K, who has been perfect since relocating to the east coast, will reunite with Gilles Barrieau. The duo is the morning line choice and will start from Post 6 in the $2,400 evening feature. The chestnut son of Shanghai Phil has scored a pair of wins in Charlottetown for new owners Plo Stables of Donagh and will be sent out in Saturday’s contest by trainer Jackie Matheson. First Art Down will have rail control in the field of seven. Ken Murphy will be in the bike as the six-year-old pacer rides a modest two-race win streak into the event; while Outside The Wire also boasts a pair of wins recently and will get the services of Marc Campbell in the bike.

Other entries include Waterside Light from Post 5, fresh off a 1:56.2 victory in Charlottetown for trainer-driver Kenny Arsenault, as well as The Big Bite (Walter Cheverie), McJestic (Corey MacPherson) and Cabo Pan Lucas (Vincent Poulton).

The lone trot on the card (Race 4) features a field of eight Open Trotters vying for a $1,950 purse. Red Shores’ Charlottetown and Summerside track record holder Thunderaway is posted as the one to beat from Post 7 for trainer-driver Jason Hughes and owner Foxyhall Racing of Wallace, N.S. The six-year-old daughter of Thunder Road holds the 1:57.3 Charlottetown track trotting record, as well as the 1:58.1 Summerside track trotting record and is fresh off a 2:00.1 victory last week in the Open trot. Other top choices are Pleasure Girls (Ron Gass) and Majian Chester (Jim Ripley).

First-race post time for the 14-race card is 1 p.m.

The $1,900 feature has been carded as Race 13. Cambest Kisser has been marked as the classifier’s choice. Galbraith is installed as the second choice with Walter Cheverie at the lines while Pure At Heart is selected for third on the morning line with Robert MacInnis in the bike.
