The Racetrack Chaplaincy of Canada's fifth annual golf tournament, hosted by Luc and Anita Ouellette, still has some spots available for the tournament being held on September 11 at the Granite Ridge Golf Course in Milton, Ont.
This year the tournament will be held on the Cobalt course and will include a hole in one contest taking a single shot to win $25,000, putting contest, closest to the pin contest for men and women, and longest drive contest for men and women.
There will also be a live auction featuring a Gerry Cheevers mask of Boston Bruins fame along with other sports memorabilia, a silent auction, and a 50/50 draw. All proceeds go to the Chaplaincy to continue their programs.
The cost is $150 per player or $600 per team for golf with cart, lunch and a buffet supper. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch service and a shot gun start at 1 p.m.
