Tioga Downs will feature six Tompkins-Geers stakes races for juvenile trotters and pacers on Friday (August 9).
A pair of $29,350 Geers divisions for pacing colts and geldings have been drawn.
In the first division, the 9-5 morning line favourite is the Linda Toscano-trained Columbo (to be driven by Jim Morrill Jr.). He is a colt by Sweet Lou-No More Loving.
In terms of the second division, the 9-5 morning line favourite is Western Vacation (Andy Miller). The Western Ideal-Robin Cruiser gelding is trained by Julie Miller
In terms of the $64,900 Geers division for pacing fillies, the 2-1 morning line favourite is the Erv Miller-trained entry of Coconut Beach (Jim Morrill Jr.) and Bolt Of Beauty (Marcus Miller). Coconut Beach is a daughter of Art Major-Gold Beach. Bolt Of Beauty is a filly by Bolt The Duer-Natural Luck.
The $54,000 Arthur Tompkins Memorial for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings will feature an entry of four, which has been established as the 4-5 morning line favourite. The entry consists of Rukiddnme (Muscle Mass-Uh Oh Its Lindy), who is trained by Ake Svanstedt and driven by Jim Morrill Jr.; Light Blue Movers (Ready Cash-Prinessa), who is driven by Dexter Dunn and trained by Svanstedt; Ceventry Hall (Cash Hall-Canland Hall), who is also trained by Svanstedt and has Corey Callahan at the helm, and Sixteen, who is driven by Wally Hennessey and trained by Rick Zeron.
There will be two divisions of the Arthur Tompkins Memorial for two-year-old trotting fillies. Julie Miller trains both of the morning line favourites. Aldabra Hanover (Andy Miller) is the 8-5 morning line favourite in the $41,800 first division. She is a filly by Muscle Hill-Anonyme Hanover. Hannah (Andy Miller) is the 8-5 morning line favourite in the $41,300 second division. She is a filly by Muscle Hill-Viva Las Lindy.
The 11-race card will start at 6:15 p.m.
