Longtime horse racing participant James Williams 'Jim' Reynolds passed away on August 1, 2016 at Langley Hospice in B.C. at the age of 69.
Jim loved life and people, and will be missed by his family and many friends. Jim loved fishing, motorcycles, jazz, gardening and had a special passion for horse racing.
Known as 'The Hat' around the track, Jim and his straw fedora were a common sight at Fraser Downs and Hastings Racecourse. A trainer both in Ontario and BC over the years, Jim was the owner and editor of Horse Racing BC and he had many friends at the track.
As per Jim's wishes there will not be a memorial service.
"Good bye my friends, it was a good ride."
