Longtime harness racing industry participant Terry Reid of McGregor, Ont. passed away on Thursday, August 29 at the age of 55.
Loving husband to Joan Reid (nee Meloche). Cherished father to Nicole Hebblethwaite and Michelle Byrne. Proud gramps to Justin, Jordan, Jonathan, Jayden, Charles, Owen and Evelyn. Great-grandfather to Oliver. Brother to Frank Reid (Daphne), Brenda Gignac (Randy), Judy Castaneda (Mark), Cindy Burns (Steve) and Heather Coberley (Bob). Predeceased by parents Frank and Marilyn Reid and brother John Reid. Terry will also be missed by many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Terry owned McGregor Auto Electric with his father Frank for over 30 years. A special thank you to the Electromac Group whom Terry worked for during the past few years.
At Terry’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Funeral Home (1525 Hwy #3, Oldcastle, 519-969-3939) with the interment set for September 7, 2019. Family & friends are requested to meet at the Funeral Home at 10:45 am and process together to the cemetery.

may god bless the soul of my friend terry thru out eternity and also bless the souls thru out eternity of all who are family to terry...since the first time we met as children at Windsor raceway and every time our paths shared an encounter since... he always and I really mean always was sporting a smile and a funny good supporting word for me and I always felt grateful and proud to know somebody that was so kind and thoughtful every time you seen him...
and that was pure honest natural terry....on more then one occasion I have sent a relationship member or family member of mine whom terry never met until they arrived at his shop asking for help and each time they told me that he went out of his way to help them out which I am sure he did for all his entire life !! ...sending prayers to help with the devastating pain and lose his family are suffering...............rest painlessly my friend maybe god called on you because he needs your help too !!..................Ricky Martin
