Walter Marks Passes

Walter T. Marks, 85, of Cochranville, Pa., died July 26, 2016, at Brandywine Hospital.

Born in Bridgeton, N.J., Mr. Marks was the son of the late Esther (Anderson) and Samuel Marks. He was the husband of Phyllis (Raine) Marks, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

Mr. Marks served as an airplane mechanic in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Parkesburg VFW.

He was employed as a Standardbred driver and also raised horses.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Marks is also survived by his daughters, Cindy (George) Simmons and Felicia (Jeff) Lacey; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a brother, John. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa; and two brothers, Samuel and Victor.
