Meadowlands Racetrack has announced the wagering format for its 2016 Hambletonian Day program on Saturday, August 6.

Win, Place, Show*, Exacta, Trifecta and 10-cent Superfectas will be offered on all 16 races. (*no Show wagering on the second race)
A $50,000 Guaranteed 50-cent Pick 5 will kick off the program in the first race, followed by a $50,000 Guaranteed 50-cent Pick 4 in race three. From there, the guarantee is ramped up to a 50-cent Pick 4 in race eight, guaranteed at $75,000. The Final Pick 4 is not guaranteed and begins with the Hambletonian Final, race 13. There is also an early Daily Double in races one and two, an Oaks/Hambo Daily Double (races 12 and 13) and a late Double on races 15 and 16.
The wagering format in detail is as follows.
Race 1: 50-cent Pick 5 ($50,000 Guaranteed) – Daily Double - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 2: Pick 3 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 3: 50-cent Pick 4 ($50,000 Guaranteed) - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 4: Pick 3 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 5: Pick 3 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 6: Pick 3 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 7: Pick 3 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 8: 50-cent Pick 4 ($75,000 Guaranteed) - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 9: Pick 3 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 10: Pick 3 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 11: 10-cent Superfecta
Race 12: Oaks/Hambo Daily Double - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 13: 50-cent Pick 4 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 14: Pick 3 - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 15: Late Daily Double - 10-cent Superfecta
Race 16: 10-cent Superfecta
Note: If a Pick 4 is not hit, the carryover will move to the next Pick 4 offered on the Saturday card. If there are no four-of-four winners in the 13th race Final Pick 4, the payoff will be on three-of-four.
