The nomination deadline for the Spud Island Classic is Tuesday, August 4 at 4 p.m. (AST) at the Harness Racing PEI office
.
The event is for open mares aged three or older with a nomination fee of $125 and the starting fee at $125.
The first leg of the Spud Island Classic is Sunday, August 9 with a potato cook-off on the tarmac, prize giveaways and special presentations. The second leg is Sunday, August 16 with the consolation and final presented during the Gold Cup card on Saturday, August 22.
