Due to a power failure caused by electrical issues, live harness racing at Northfield Park has been cancelled for Wednesday, Aug. 28.
When live racing resumes on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m., Northfield will have a carryover in the Pick-5 (Race 6) of $2,823 and the Pick-6 (Race 8) of $3,839.
Northfield alters the live racing schedule slightly next week in observance of Labour Day. The upcoming schedule is as follows: Saturday, Aug. 31, Sunday, Sept. 1 and Tuesday, Sept. 3.
