The Standardbred Horse Sales Company has announced details about its 85th Annual Yearling Sale Preview.
The 85th Annual Yearling Sale Preview will be posted soon on the company's website at theblackbook.com. Yearling video links will be posted closer to the sale.
As always, Standardbred Horse Sales provides multiple search functions and downloadable PDF packets on its website to help in finding your next champion. The convenient “My Black Book” feature allows customers to store lists of yearling prospects with pedigrees, video links and personal notes in a confidential format that is accessible from any internet-capable device.
The Yearling Sale dates are Monday, Nov. 6 through Wednesday, Nov. 8, featuring 840 fabulous yearlings (360 trotters, 480 pacers). The sale will be held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and includes:
- 449 by Pennsylvania sires
- 98 by New York sires
- 148 by Ontario sires
- 116 by New Jersey sires
- 18 by Ohio sires
- two by Indiana sires
- seven by Kentucky sires
- four by overseas sires
First crop yearling sires include:

- Dancin Lou (one)
- Gimpanzee (seven)
- Green Manalishi S (23)
Printed catalogues will be mailed Sept. 22. Standardbred Horse Sales will offer catalogues formatted for the Ipad through the Equineline.com Sales Catalog App.
