This Sunday (Aug. 30), Clinton Raceway will take a special moment during its live racing program to honour and remember those who have passed away with a Memorial Race Card dedicated to the people who have left a lasting mark on the local racing community.
Family and friends are invited to honour a loved one by dedicating a race in their memory. Whether they were a long-time Clinton Raceway fan, a horseperson, a racing enthusiast, or simply someone special who deserves to be remembered, a memorial race is a meaningful way to celebrate their life and connection to the community.
There are still a couple of open races available for those wishing to participate.
"This is always a very special day at Clinton Raceway," said Jessica Carnochan, Marketing Manager. "For many families, the Raceway has been a place filled with memories, and dedicating a race in someone's honour is a wonderful way to keep those memories and their connection to the track alive."
