Flamboro Downs is launching the Fall/Winter meet with some exciting promotions starting on September 1.
The popular Survivor Thursdays are back with the weekly winner receiving a $100 HPIBET deposit. Entries can be made online. The first segment winner will receive an North America Cup Prize pack and the second segment winner will receive a Confederation Cup VIP Experience.
Saturday, September 5 is Fan Appreciation Day with $1.00 hot dogs and pop and $3.00 hamburgers and beer. Three draws will take place for a $20 Win, Place and Show Bet on Flamboro’s Card of harness racing plus free t-shirts and other giveaways (while supplies last). OLG Slots will have hourly hot seat draws and random prizing throughout the day for Winners Circle Members.
October 3 is the $100,000 Ellamony Stakes with the 2nd Annual Horse Racing Festival on the undercard. Many different horse disciplines will be on display between races, the Racing Under Saddle Team is scheduled, Food Trucks, Wanna Drive, OLG Spin to Win, Flamboro’s Famous Miniature Horses along with the Dachshund Dash, Wiener Dogs that will race and a chance to meet afterwards. A “Wiener for Wiener” program is taking place as $2.00 for every hot dog sold will be directly benefiting the Dachshund Rescue Fund Charity.
“I’m very excited with the scheduled promotions, with the highlight being the Ellamony. And what better way to expand the excitement is to have a full day of fun for all as we are trying some new events that we expect to be well received," according to John Stolte, General Manager.
The Slots at Flamboro Downs is celebrating their 15th Anniversary with a big day planned on Tuesday, October 13. Hamilton Ti-Cat Players, Cheerleaders, Cakes, Draws, Wanna Drive and much more; with more details to follow.
Racing resumes on Tuesday, September 1 and continues four days a week until December and then continuing January through to May for three days a week. Post time is always 6:00 p.m.
