Officials with the Standardbred Horse Sales Company have announced that the 77th annual Harrisburg Yearling Sale Preview is now online.
The preview can be viewed at theblackbook.com. Individual yearling pedigrees will soon follow, with yearling video links posted closer to the sale.
Yearling sale dates are Monday, November 2 through Wednesday, November 4, and will feature 1,015 fabulous yearlings – 615 by Pennsylvania sires, 261 by New York sires, 100 by Ontario sires, 31 by New Jersey sires, and 8 by Ohio sires. Yearlings by first-year sires including world champion Chapter Seven (31), Russell Hanover (5), Archangel (2), and Winning Mister (1) will be presented.
Printed catalogues will be mailed September 9. The SHSC will again offer catalogues formatted for the iPad through the equineline.com sales catalog app.
As always, the SHSC will provide multiple ‘search functions and downloadable PDF packets on the website to help buyers find their champion. The convenient ‘My Black Book’ feature allows customers to store lists of yearling prospects with pedigrees, video links, and personal notes in a confidential format that is accessible from any internet-capable device.
