Horsepeople are reminded that the entry box for the Thursday and Friday PA Fair Sires Stakes races at the Somerset County Fair will close at 10 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, August 18).
Entries can be called in to 610-513-7957 or made online -- note that the track abbreviation for entering is 'MEYER,' as in Meyersdale PA, the location city.
GPS machines can set an address of 7842 Mount Davis Road, Meyersdale PA 15552.
Two-year-olds will head to post at 2 p.m. on Thursday, and three-year-olds at noon on Friday.
This is the first time harness racing has been held at the Somerset County Fair in over 50 years.
