Officials with Hanover Raceway have announced that 183 horses were nominated for the Balanced Image Trot.
Horsepeople have until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18 to declare to start in the Balanced Image, which is Hanover’s second-largest stakes event of the season.
The track’s general manager, Gord Dougan, has said that with 183 noms, this year’s Balanced Image final could be worth as much as the final of the Dream Of Glory final, which was raced for $75,100 earlier this month.
After this Saturday’s eliminations, the top eight two-year-old trotters will return on Saturday, August 31 for the Balanced Image final.
First-race post time for this Saturday’s card at Hanover is 7:15 p.m.
