Winbak Yearling Videos Available For Upcoming Sales

Winbak Farm yearling videos for the Blooded Horse Sale, Ohio Selected Jug Yearling Sale and Goshen Yearling Sale are now posted online.

Winbak Farm will be selling four yearlings in the Blooded Horse Yearling Sale on Aug. 27 in the Black Type yearling catalogue. These yearlings will be selling as part of the Spring Haven Farm consignment. The sale, which starts at 9:30 a.m., will be held at the Champions Center Expo in Springfield, Ohio. 

Winbak Farm yearlings selling include a filly by Catch The Fire, a colt by Ready For Moni, a filly by Shadow Play and a filly by Trixton.

  • #43, Fire Country, is a Catch The Fire half-sister to Two Faced, p, 1:53.2h -’24 ($191,005) and Face The Shadows, p, 3, 1:52.1f -’23 ($71,759). From five living foals of racing age, her dam has produced five winners. This filly’s second dam is Cheeky Hanover, p, 1:53 ($213,633). She is a half-sister to Betting Exchange, p, 1:50.3f ($863,702), Wellthereyougo, p, 1:51.3h ($721,705) and The Other Cheek, p, 1:50.3s ($411,802). She is Ohio-sired.
  • #79, Moni Madness, is a Ready For Moni colt and just the second foal from his dam. His family includes O’Brien Award winner Its Made To Order, 2, 1:58.1f ($314,218). Ready For Moni’s oldest foals are yearlings in 2024. He is Ohio-sired.  
  • #84, Playing The Town, is a Shadow Play half-sister to 2024 New York Stakes winner Choiceofthetown, p, 2, 2:14h -’24 ($5,107). She is the second foal from a half-sister to Hollyrock Heyden, p, 1:52f ($191,721) and Under Contract, p, 1:53.2h -‘23 ($126,218). On Sept. 13, Winbak Farm will be selling three pacing yearlings in the Ohio Selected Jug Sale. These yearlings will be selling as part of the Spring Haven Farm consignment. The sale starts at 10 a.m. and will be held at the Pickaway Agriculture and Event Center in Circleville, Ohio. 

Winbak Farm yearlings selling include two colts sired by Catch The Fire and a colt sired by Fear The Dragon.

Courtly Choice offspring have earned more than $800,000 in 2024 New York Sire Stakes. He is the sire of Fast Choice, p, 2, 1:54.3h -’24 ($142,348) and Courts On Fire, p, 2, 1:55.3h –’24 ($92,943), who are the first and third richest two-year-old colts in the program to date. The colts, like their sire, were bred, raised and sold by Winbak Farm.
