The fifth annual Standardbred Race Track Golf Tournament, sponsored by Luc and Anita Ouellette, is just over one week away and there are still openings available for teams and individuals.
This year the highlight will be a prize worth $25,000 (sponsored by Doug Hyatt) attached to the tournament's hole-in-one contest. There are also several excellent items up for bid in the live auction, including platinum seats for a Raptors home game of your choice for the 2012 regular season.
Cost for the day is still $150, which includes BBQ lunch, cart, golf and evening meal, and tax receipts issued for those who wish to sponsor their team at the cost of $600. Net proceeds will go to the Race Track Chaplaincy of Canada to pay for the many projects sponsored by them.
The tournament will be held at the Granite Ridge Golf Course in Milton, Ont. on September 12, with registration at 11:30 a.m., BBQ lunch at noon, the shotgun start at 1 p.m., and an evening buffet at 6:30 p.m.
