Northfield Park is announcing the addition of a $10,000 Pick-3 total pool guarantee and a guaranteed $40,000 total pool to Wednesday’s (Aug. 14) program.
Beginning in Race 5, the $10,000 Pick-3 guaranteed total pool includes a carryover of $2,528.
Race 7 starts the Pick 4, which has a carryover of $10,233. Wednesday’s Pick 4 total pool has been guaranteed at $40,000.
The wagers are offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.
The nightly 20-cent Northfield Single Six, a unique combination Pick 6 beginning in race nine, has amassed a $14,206 carryover.
Northfield’s Pick 5, Pick 4’s, Pick 3’s, 20-cent Northfield Single Six and 20-cent Super High Five offer a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent.
