Horse Racing New Brunswick will carry on a long-standing tradition of harness racing in the province on Monday (August 4) with a 10-dash card at Fredericton Raceway.
Holiday racing on ‘New Brunswick Day’ has been a staple of the province’s racing schedule. First-race post time for the card is 2 p.m.
The top-class race on the card will feature the speedy pacing mare Ramblinglily whose quickest clocking of the season (1:56.4) came on July 19 at Fredericton. She has drawn the outside Post 5 in the $1,500 feature for owners Norm Leger and Allan Jones.
Ramblinglily will face off against J Rs Hurricane (to be driven by Scott Hubbard), Man In Pink (Mark Haig), Magical Alex (Todd Trites) and Rose Valley (Mike Campbell).
