Who do you think should be the next Face of Racing for the I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club? Who do you think can represent this sport in a positive and proactive manner? Which driver, trainer or horse embodies the qualities we value?
The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club is looking for a few new industry members to join our Faces of Racing Stable and we are giving you the lines. We are leaving it to you to nominate individuals who are positive representatives of the sport we all love.
When the FC launched in 2011, we had seven Faces of Racing –- Casie Coleman, Jody Jamieson, Mark MacDonald, Doug McNair, Randy Waples, Scott Zeron and San Pail. In October that year, Marc Campbell was added to the stable.
The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club has just celebrated its third anniversary and we want to continue to grow and expand and our Faces of Racing help us to do this!
Nominations are being accepted now via email. Along with the name of the individual, please submit a short paragraph, or a few lines, explaining why this person or horse deserves to be one of our new Faces of Racing.
We are looking for a person who is:
-
Based in Canada
-
A trainer or driver
-
Been licensed for at least five (5) years
Or a horse who is:
-
Based in Canada
-
Owned and trained by Canadians
-
At least four years old
Send your submissions to [email protected]. The deadline is July 25 so don’t delay, submit your Face of Racing today!
