Hawthorne Race Course will offer a $20,000 guaranteed pool on tonight’s Early Pick 5.
The popular 50-cent minimum wager was not hit last night, so a carryover pool of more than $3,500 will be added to tonight’s action.
The Early Pick 5 will entail Race 1 through Race 5 on tonight’s stakes-filled 12 card. The first of 12 races will head behind the gate at 7:35 p.m.(Central).
Headlining a bevy of ICF action for the ladies are four Leg 2 divisions of the Incredible Tillie Stake Series (Races 2-3-4-6) which feature freshmen pacing fillies. Violet Stake eliminations for sophomore pacing fillies have been carded as Races 7 and Race 8 with the top five in each division returning for next week’s final.
