Hanover Raceway and Dresden Raceway are pleased to announce a partnership with the Central Ontario Standardbred Association (COSA) who will sponsor a free Survivor Contest with a $500 HPIBet deposit Jackpot.
The contest will combine the five races in the OLG Ontario Women's Driving Championship at Hanover Raceway on Saturday, July 17 with the five races in the OLG Ontario Women's Driving Championship at Dresden Raceway on Sunday, July 18.
Hanover Raceway General Manager Steve Fitzsimmons thinks this is a win-win for all involved.
"We've had a ton of interest from all across Canada in our upcoming event and we're pleased to have a unique survivor contest over the two race cards," Fitzsimmons said. "Thank you to Bill O'Donnell and the good people at COSA for sponsoring the prize to make this happen. It will be a great showcase of women drivers and we're proud to be the hosts."
"I know Dresden fans are looking forward to seeing this event and we think this will be a nice enhancement to a weekend of action and will make the fans even more a part of the event." said Dresden Raceway Track Announcer/Public Relations Director Gary Patterson.
The contest will be hosted on Hanover Raceway's website, with programs and entry forms available on Thursday, July 15.
The weekend is a fundraising initiative for the Canadian Cancer Society for Cervical Cancer at Hanover Raceway and for Harness the Hope at Dresden Raceway.
