Trot Insider has received details of the first-ever National Capital Region Harness Horse Association Golf Tournament, and if you are interested, you'd better get
on the horn quickly.
The tournament will be taking place Wednesday, August 11 at the Emerald Links Golf Course in Greely, Ont.
The cost per team (four golfers) is $400. The tournament will be conducted under a best-ball format.
The tournament, which is to feature great prizes, will include a putting contest, a longest-drive competition, and closest-to-the-pin contests on all Par 3s.
The tournament will be followed by a steak dinner.
Organizers have stressed that the tournament is only open to 72 golfers and that payments must be in no later than August 1. Payments will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis.
