Officials from Summerside Raceway would like to remind horsemen of the Monday, July 7 deadline to nominate horses to this year’s Lobster Carnival late closer.
The event, which is open to fillies and mares ages three and up, will feature eliminations on July 13 and the final on July 19.
The nomination fee and the starting fee for the event is $125.

Horsemen are also reminded there is a draw schedule change for Charlottetown and Summerside. The draw for Charlottetown’s July 12 card will be on Tuesday, July 8 and Summerside’s July 13 program will be drawn on Wednesday, July 9. Declarations are due to the race office by 9 a.m.
