Even after $10,116 was wagered into Yonkers Raceway’s Monday night Pick-5, there was no winner in sight.
Bad news for those folks, but good news for the Tuesday troops.
Tuesday evening, Yonkers’ Pick-5 offers a generous carryover of $7,587.
The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager offered on Race 5 through 9 nightly. It has no consolation payoff, meaning if no one selects all five winners (as was the case Monday), the entire pool carries over to the next racing program.
The Pick 5 also offers a $10,000 guaranteed pool every Monday and Tuesday, with program pages for the 'guarantee' days available for perusal at yonkersraceway.com.
Yonkers' five-night-per-week live schedule continues, with first post every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:10 p.m. Evening simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting available around the NYRA schedule.
