This year there is much in store, including the annual staples, such as carriage rides from Tara Oaks Carriages, children’s activities, live music on the rooftop, the $100,000 final of the Dream of Glory Stakes and a top-notch fireworks display following the races. Added to the festivities this year will be a beef roast prior to the races at 6:00 p.m., and fans can have a free picture taken with Abbey Road C. The $2-million earning horse was the first to win the Dream of Glory, and is still the current track record holder. Also, Lincoln Miller will provide the entertainment on the rooftop throughout the night, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Dream of Glory Night will also be a great chance for fans to take home prizes and memorabilia from Hanover Raceway. Commemorative Dream of Glory beer steins will be available for purchase at the information kiosk and as always, the winner’s circle giveaways with Fred Wallace and Andrew Hughes will be taking place all night.

Also, in celebration of the 10th Anniversary Dream of Glory, Saturday race nights in 2011 have been Diamond Nights at Hanover Raceway, and we will draw our winner on Dream of Glory final night. One lucky fan in attendance will go home with 10kt gold diamond necklace courtesy of Wendt’s Jewellery in Mildmay and Mount Forest.

First-race post time is 6:30, but the festivities will get underway at 6:00 p.m.
