With only nine three-year-old pacing fillies having been entered for this Sunday’s Ontario Sires Stakes Gold eliminations at Mohawk Racetrack, all nine will now advance
directly to the $170,000 final on Monday, August 9 at the Campbellville, Ont. oval.
Trainer Casie Coleman will send forward a powerful one-two punch which includes recent Canadian Breeders Championship winner Bay Girl and Fan Hanover Stakes winner Western Silk.
The field of nine will also include multiple Gold Series winner Tiz To Dream, along with Precious Cammill, Ice Ice Baby, Landfairslastchance, Windsong Grand Ave, Warm Waffles and Theta Blue Chip.
Mohawk will host a 10-race program on Sunday as part of the holiday weekend. The main event will be the $50,000 final of the In Free Trotting Series for two-year-old fillies.
