On Saturday (Aug. 1), The Meadows Racetrack and Casino will host the 54th running of the Adios Stakes. In addition to this important event for three-year-old pacing colts, the remainder of the card is also full of stakes races.
The Adios' sister event, the Adioo Volo for three-year-old pacing fillies, will also be presented. Freshmen will show their talents in the Arden Downs for two-year-old pacing colts and fillies, and Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and Stallion Series races for three-year-old trotting fillies will round out the stakes competition.
Horsepeople are advised that the entry box closes at 9 a.m. sharp Tuesday (July 28) for all of these races.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, these races will be held without spectators in attendance. Races can be viewed on The Meadows website. Wagering and viewing is also available through xpressbet.com and hollywoodraces.com.
