Grand River Raceway in Elora will be the next stop on the RUS Ontario race tour. Organizers are encouraging everyone to come out this Friday (July 24) for a full night of ‘fun and frivolity!’
Grand River Raceway, RUS Ontario, and new sponsor Mad Barn Supplements have planned an exciting night. In addition to the usual Friday night excitement at Grand River Raceway, Mad Barn is adding more to the mix with a t-shirt giveaway and more great prizes.
Like always, the really exciting part of the show will take place on the racetrack. Carded as Race 3, Friday’s RUS race looks to be one of the most competitive yet. Seven horses and riders are scheduled to race.
This year’s current percentage leader, Natalie Elliott, is set to start from Post 1. She will be holding the reins of RUS ironman Thor Seelster, who has been installed as the 7-5 morning line favourite. The pair will face stiff challenges in the form of stablemate Lexus Hawkeye and Danish rider Karoline Nielsen. Also in the mix is New Favorite and French rider Sophie Engerran, Cool Creek Valley and 2014 high percentage rider Marit Valstad, plus four more horse and rider teams eager to cross the wire first.
But before the show goes to the track, Mad Barn will be giving away newly-designed RUS Ontario/Mad Barn t-shirts to the first 100 people that visit the RUS Ontario booth. In addition, racegoers can enter a draw to win dinner for two in the Grand River dinning room.
Also, the Mad Barn-sponsored rider, Sarah Town, might be taking the night off from riding, but she'll still be giving people a chance to win, as racegoers can enter to win a ride in the starting car with Town herself!
Friday, July 24 at Grand River Raceway will be the best entertainment in the region, offering talented riders, sizzling races, exciting draws for great prizes, and, of course, all of the regular craziness of Fun & Frivolity Fridays!
