There have been multiple developments surrounding Inverness Raceway’s programs of live racing that were initially scheduled for Wednesday, July 22 and Friday, July 24. If you were planning on racing during those cards or wagering on them, read this story because quite a bit has changed.
Early on Wednesday it had been announced that Inverness’ Friday, July 24 race date had been cancelled due to a lack of entries. A make-up date for the race date has yet to be announced. Trot Insider will convey that information when it is made available.
At that point, Inverness was still scheduled to host a card of live racing on Wednesday, July 22. Although, the Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission announced later in the afternoon that Inverness’ scheduled Wednesday, July 22 card had been cancelled due to ‘weather conditions.’
Therefore, the MPHRC announced that since the Wednesday, July 22 card has been cancelled, Inverness will now host a card of live racing on Friday, July 24.
