Details have been released for the third annual Hambletonian Post Position Draw & Charity Casino Night.
The event will be held on Tuesday, July 29 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, NJ following the Hambletonian post position draw. All proceeds will benefit the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame and the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.
Dinner and an open bar will begin at 5 p.m. in the lounge on the grandstand level. Tickets for the event are now on sale. Dinner and casino tickets are $125 per person and include dinner, dessert, entertainment, open bar, and $50 in casino chips. Additional casino chips may also be purchased throughout the night for games such as craps, roulette, blackjack, and poker.
A poker tournament is being held separately at the same event venue and has a buy-in of $100 per person (does not include dinner and casino ticket). The winner/chip leader will receive a three-night, four-day trip for two to Las Vegas, including round-trip airfare, first-class hotel accommodations, round-trip hotel transfers, and show tickets. The poker tournament will begin at 7:30 p.m. sharp. Registration opens at 5 p.m. Walk-ins are permitted, however, space will be limited.
