Racing will return to the picturesque Fredericton Raceway on Thursday, July 23, as Horse Racing New Brunswick will present a seven-dash program that will kick off at 6:30 p.m.
One of the highlights of the night will be Fall Bliss and owner/trainer/driver Dr. Mitch Downey. They will be seeking their fourth consecutive victory at the capital city half-mile track.
Downey will pilot the seven-year-old son of Blissfull Hall in Race 4 on the program. He sports a lifetime mark of 1:50.3f and he is a perfect three-for three since arriving in New Brunswick.
American Terror leads the way in the $1,000 main event. His owner/trainer/driver Ed Harvey will be looking for his third consecutive win with the pacer. He is closing in on $30,000 in seasonal earnings.
First-race post time is 6:30 p.m., and, as always, there is free admission, free parking, contests and a 50/50 draw being held.
