Trot Insider has learned that 77-year-old owner, trainer and driver Rocco Rossi of Burlington, Ont. passed away suddenly in his sleep on Saturday, July 18
.
There will be viewings today (Monday, July 20) and Tuesday, July 21 at Smith's Funeral Home in Burlington, Ont. from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The service will be taking place Wednesday, July 22 at 1:00 p.m. A reception at the funeral home will follow the service.

Rossi leaves behind his special friend Tony Viksne, daughters Angela, Adele and Catherine; grandchildren Niki, Rocco, Rena, Christina, Catie, Angela and Rocky; and great grandchildren Lucas, Julianna and Austin.
