Snails, Bouncy Ponies and live tunes are just a few of the spectacles on tap as Grand River Raceway kicks off Fun & Frivolity Friday Nights on July 3
.
The Elora, ON half-miler has a new accessory line-up for its Friday race nights, which includes a Tarmac Tent with live music between, and after the races, starting at 9:00 p.m.
Other Fun & Frivolity activities include the return of Grand River Raceway's infamous Bouncy Pony Stakes, and the introduction of the Snails' Pace - live, action-packed snail racing, in which kids can join the stable of their favourite sluggish contender. Horse crafts, and free photos with a retired racehorse will also compliment the family-friendly itinerary.
Fun & Frivolity Friday Nights run July 3 through September 25.
This Friday's launch marks the track's fourth annual Powder Puff event, featuring the Mildred Williams Ladies' Driving Series and a fundraising initiative for the Ontario Breast Screening Program at Groves Memorial Hospital.
