The featured Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace on Saturday, July 18 at Northfield Park was action-packed, and longshots comprising the top two finishers led to the Hi-5 wager going unhit. The result created a $7,369 carryover to the opener on the Sunday card.
The 20-cent Super Hi-5 wager features an estimated pool of $50,000. The popular bet continues to maintain its 14 per cent takeout. The Super Hi-5 is offered in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program as well as the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association.
Post time for the 15-race program on Sunday is 6 p.m. Northfield Park currently races Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
