After starting with 164 players we are now down to 19. Congratulations to those select few players who will move on to the fifth round of the Ontario Sires Stakes Survivor Challenge.
The fifth round will feature Race 4 at Grand River Raceway on Friday, July 19 --- a $12,857 OSS Grassroots event for three-year-old trotting colts. All 'surviving' players will be sent an email today with a link to the entry form for Friday and Saturday’s races. You must enter by 6:00 p.m. (EST) on Friday.
Players will also be asked to make a selection for the sixth round on Saturday night due to scheduling, which will be Race 12 at Hanover Raceway. The sixth round features two-year-old Grassroot pacing colts. Players must successfully select a top three finisher on Friday in order for their Saturday selection to be considered.
Eighty-six players successfully selected a top-three finisher in the second round, which was Race 6 at Kawartha Downs on July 6, an OSS Grassroots event for two-year-old trotting fillies.
In the third round, forty-five players were able to select a top three finisher, which was Race 8 at Rideau Carleton on July 11. It was a Gold event for two-year-old pacing fillies. The forty-five remaining entries will advance to round four.
All players that correctly select a top-three finisher in the fifth round will advance to the sixth round on Saturday, July 20 and can expect an email on Thursday, July 25 and will be asked to select the seventh round.
This will continue for the duration of the contest, so it’s important for players to stay updated with the contest as selections will be required each week from players who stay 'alive' and move on to the next round.
The winning player will receive a tote bag with $50 worth of 'I Love Canadian Harness Racing' swag and $50 in OSS swag.
