Caretakers, we want to see your selfies! This weekend, July 20-22 is National Caretaker Appreciation Day (NCAD) at racetracks across Canada, and we’d like you to take a selfie with a horse sometime during the weekend.
Add hashtags #thehorsecomesfirst #caretakerday18 and post on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, and you’ll be entered into a contest to win a $150 gift card*, an official NCAD t-shirt and hat.
You don’t need to be racing a horse on these dates. If you work at a breeding farm, a turnout farm, aren’t racing over the weekend, take your photos and enter for your chance to win.
Deadline to enter is noon (EST) on Monday, July 23.
You can also post on the NCAD event page on Standardbred Canada’s Facebook page or send the photo in a personal message to SC via Messenger on Facebook.
